How they’re made

  • Every Weeblewib is created through a Turkish water marbling process called Ebru. In this process paint is dripped onto a liquid substrate and artfully pushed around until a character takes form. It can then be lifted onto a sheet of paper.

    Water Marbling

Each character is created through a technique called water marbling. It involves ink being dropped onto a liquid substrate and carefully moved around until the desired shape takes form.

The ink can then be lifted from the liquid onto sized paper.

  • Concept Design

The prints are scanned and taken into photoshop to further develop each character.

  • 3DRender

    3D Modeling

The 3d model is designed along with a variety of special attributes (lips, eyes, horns, lashes, beauty marks, color, background, and lighting) inside Blender.

  • Generative Randomizer

Using code specially developed by our team, the WWs are generated with a randomizer. This means that every WW comes out looking unique and different. These traits are all assigned rarity values, which will be published w S1 launch.
